We are
Anglican Christians

Anglicans are Christians who follow Jesus Christ in accordance with the tradition of the Church of England.  Although Christianity was evident in Britain as early as the second century A.D., the Anglican Christianity as we know it today was stems from the time of the Protestant Reformation, and several different factors contributed to its formation:  theological, social, and political factors.  Anglicans, similar to Lutherans, but unlike Anabaptists and other continental Reformed groups, concluded that the Church should continue in its practices which were not contrary to Scripture and the gospel of Jesus Christ, and remove those things which were.  Therefore, the practices and tradition of the Anglican Church reach back to those of the early church, helping us to be faithful Christians in the present while we live in the hope of resurrection and the Return of Christ our King to establish his reign once and for all on earth as it is in heaven.

To be an Anglican Christian is to be:
     Committed to Jesus Christ
     Orthodox in Theology
     Catholic in Ritual
     Evangelical in Faith
     Monastic in Prayer
     Sacrificial in Living
a Steward with Gifts and Resources
a Member of God’s Family:  Past, Present, and Future
