WORSHIP

The center of our life together at St. Christopher’s is worship, and more specifically, the Holy Eucharist.  We worship to glorify God and to give thanks for the working of his grace in our lives, and it is in worship that our life is sustained and we grow in faith and holiness through encountering the Lord through Word and Sacrament.

In our worship, we sing praise to God, we hear the Word proclaimed, we offer prayer, we confess our sins, and we participate in the redeeming sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.

All baptized Christians are welcome to receive the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ in Holy Communion.

We worship on Sundays at 10:30am at 445 N Bever St. in Wooster.
We also have a Mid-Week Eucharist on Wednesdays at 12:15pm.

BIBLE STUDY & CORNERSTONE SERIES

We believe that Scripture is the inspired Word of God that reveals the Truth about God, the world, and ourselves.  Whereas we worship to glorify God and give thanks to him for who he is and what he has done for us in his Son Jesus Christ, we study so that we can meditate on Scripture and with God’s help, find our own place in the unfolding story of redemption that we may participate in the ministry of the Kingdom of God.

There are two ways we engage in study at St. Christopher’s.  The first is through Bible Study where we have guided discussion as we go through Scripture.  The second is through discussion forums on the four Cornerstones upon which St. Christopher’s is being build:  Christ, Scripture, Prayer, Community.

We meet either on Sunday mornings or on weekdays, depending on how we choose to go about our respective study.  If our gatherings are scheduled on weekday evenings, we first share in a meal together, and then move on to our discussion.  Specific information can be found in our news page.
